Some Clothes I'm Into
that's if you're into it too
A. Friend of the blog requested more product recommendations, so here are some product recommendations for clothes. Caveat emptor of course, your tastes may be unlike mine and any of these products may get worse.
Hobibear Zero Drop Shoes
Zero drop, wide toebox, look reasonably normal, slip-on-slip-off, what more can you want? Should be ~$40 per pair.
Darn Tough Socks
I'm a little embarrassed to include these because in my world "everybody" already wears them, but as best I can tell they really are the best socks. $25 per pair and ~never on sale alas, but the company really will replace them for the rest of your life as they wear through, which is nice.
Calvin Klein 100% Cotton Boxer Briefs
I got memed into the idea that synthetic boxers might be bad for you, I'm not actually sure that's medically true, but these are comfy and seem to be high quality fabric. Often on sale at like $12 per pair; be careful to get the 100% cotton ones and not the very similar-looking part-cotton ones.
Duluth Trading Slim Fit 5-Pocket Pants (or Ballroom Pants)
I'm alas not convinced these pants sit super well on me, but they're very comfy and they have a gusset at the seam that makes them way more moveable-in. Often on sale for anywhere from $30 to $60.
Superdry Tshirts
I like these t-shirts and how they sit. Often on sale at 3 for $65.
N.b. nobody to my knowledge has ever claimed I'm well-dressed, this is "clothes I like" rather than clothes anybody else will.
Do you have clothes you like? Hit me up in the comments. One category I'm desperately looking for is "consistent purveyor of baseball caps that sit really nice," I feel like every great baseball cap I've owned was bought randomly for $10 from some streetside stall and is therefore impossible to replicate in future.
